Job Description
We are looking for a proactive, organized, and technically skilled Production Incharge to join our manufacturing team at G R Industrial Engineering Products Private Limited. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring day-to-day production activities while ensuring timely execution of in-house and outsourced manufacturing operations. The role also involves production documentation, AutoCAD 2D drawing preparation, subcontractor coordination, production follow-up, and dispatch planning to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets.
• Prepare, modify, and maintain 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring all drawings are reviewed and approved before releasing them for machining and production.
• Coordinate with subcontractors regarding material issues, production progress, quality concerns, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor and follow up on both in-house production and outsourced manufacturing activities to ensure timely completion.
• Prepare and maintain Daily Production Reports (DPR).
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily dispatch activities to ensure products are delivered on schedule.
• Prepare and maintain production sheets, job cards, and work orders for all manufacturing jobs.
• Record and maintain incoming material details and update production tracking sheets.
• Maintain records of materials issued to subcontractors, material returns, and pending jobs.
• Coordinate with the Production, Quality, Design, Stores, and Dispatch departments to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure production documentation is accurate, updated, and maintained for traceability.
• Monitor production schedules and assist in achieving daily production targets.
• Identify production bottlenecks and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce delays, and optimize manufacturing processes.

Key Skills
• Good knowledge of production planning and shop floor coordination.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D with the ability to prepare and modify engineering drawings.
• Ability to read, interpret, and create 2D mechanical drawings.
• Good understanding of machining and manufacturing processes.
• Strong follow-up and coordination skills with subcontractors and internal departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production documentation.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and reporting skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet production deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of quality systems and manufacturing documentation.

Qualifications
• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Production, Production Planning, or Manufacturing Coordination in an engineering or machine shop environment.
